Only ten minutes of an interview would be rather disappointing, but the film is so good that I imagine few regretted their decision to attend nevertheless. I'm glad this article could provide some further context for the screening! Hope to see you around the festival soon; I'll be heading there this afternoon.Brian Darrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17693169310367670898noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2531345904528580427.post-40875348388494843602012-04-23T07:46:30.131-07:002012-04-23T07:46:30.131-07:00Brian, what a great piece and what fortuitous timi...Brian, what a great piece and what fortuitous timing. I was checking FB while sitting in the Kabuki waiting for Kopple's POV Award program to start, linked to this piece and had just enough time to read it before the show started. It added immeasurably to my appreciation of the film, which I hadn't seen since its original release. I don't know if you've heard, but fire alarms went off at the Kabuki yesterday afternoon, ten minutes into Kopple's post-screening, on-stage interview, and the entire building had to be evacuated. So that was the end of that.Michael Hawleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04712772885405352863noreply@blogger.com
