Third'd. And I got to put something together for all this madness? Ha! Still: great fun. Really enjoyed sharing the weekend with you two, and everybody. More soon, I promise!
Thanks, all. Rob and Peter, you were definitely missed this weekend. To be clear, there was no benshi performance this year, though I can understand why my convoluted prose in my other post gave off that impression. There was, however, another Marion Davies comedy, the Patsy, which was a terrific way to close out the weekend.
ME TOO!

ReplyDeleteBrian, thanks for all your posts. Next best thing to being there.
ReplyDeleteI wish I was there to have seen a contemporary benshi. My companion, Lumena, still talks about how much she loved seeing Show People two years ago.
